Mozilla continues to experiment with VR. Their newest VR-app is called Hubs and is a chat application that shares similarities with the VR-app AltspaceVR, which last year got acquired by Microsoft.

Unlike AltspaceVR which is a native application for SteamVR and the Oculus-platform, Hubs is built for WebVR. This means that to start the app you just enter the site's url in a WebVR-compatible web browser and you're in. That gives Hubs the advantage of being platform agnostic.
